Our school began as White Gums Kindergarten, then moved to The Penny School in Maldon, before landing at our home in Muckleford as Castlemaine Steiner School. Now we are excited to continue the next part of our journey as RedGum – the Waldorf School of Central Victoria.
At RedGum, we believe in a human education that cultivates strong inner direction and a lifelong love of learning. We offer a rich, purposeful and rigorous curriculum that supports children and adolescents to think clearly, act ethically, and relate with empathy. Our approach grows with the young person – balancing wonder, courage, and rhythm – and lays the foundations for wisdom, not just knowledge.
